Our focus is on physical activity as a means to prevent and recover from disease and injury in a safe and supervised facility.

All members receive a physical fitness evaluation and individualized exercise plan to meet their goals. In addition, Valley’s registered dietitians, rehabilitation programs, and community health programs will be offered on-site. In addition, cooking demonstrations will be offered as a part of our wellness programming using our “mobile kitchen.”

Our Learn-to-Swim program is designed for children as young as six months, as well as for adults. Students will progress through the levels at their own pace, mastering the skills in one level before advancing to the next. Each level of classes includes training in basic water safety and helping others in an emergency, in addition to stroke development. Lessons will be available in either group settings or as private lessons.

There is a group exercise class for just about every interest including, but, not limited to: yoga, indoor cycling, pilates, step-aerobics, bars and bands, stability ball, and of course water aerobics and water resistance classes. When are “dependent hours?”
As a medical fitness facility, Valley Health LifeStyles has a keen focus on the safety of all of our members and, therefore, we utilize a system of dependent hours for our younger members.
Dependents are persons receiving parental support and are 23 years of age or younger, whose residence is the same as the primary member. Dependents have extended membership privileges under the Family Membership Category. All dependents will be issued a membership number, which must be entered at the front desk to gain access to LifeStyles. Hours for dependent usage of LifeStyles are:
Monday through Thursday:
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday:
Dependents ages 0 – 12 years may use the track, gymnasium and pool during dependent hours and must be accompanied by an adult in that area. For purposes of this dependent usage section, an “adult” is defined as an individual who is 18 years of age or older assuming responsibility (with appropriate documentation) for a dependent while in LifeStyles.
Dependents ages 13 – 15 years may use the track, gymnasium and pool during dependent hours. This age category may also use the exercise equipment during dependent hours after successfully completing the LifeStyles Teen Fitness Certification program. Dependents age 13 – 15 must be accompanied by an adult unless participating in a structured age-specific LifeStyles program.
Dependents ages 15 years or younger must have an adult present at time of check-in.
Dependents ages 16 – 17 years may use all available LifeStyles facilities during dependent hours and are not required to be accompanied by an adult.
Dependents ages 18 – 23 are not restricted to dependent hours.
