Introducing Valley Health LifeStyles Outdoor Fitness Classes!

Valley Health LifeStyles is pleased to offer our outdoor group fitness class programs for members! Get fit while staying safe with your favorite LifeStyles group fitness instructors. All classes will be held outside and proper safety measures will be followed, including physical distancing between participants of least 10 feet. 

Cost: $10 Per Class (credit/debit card payment only)

Location: Wellness Center parking lot in front of the building

Health and Safety is our first priority and the following guidelines apply to our outdoor program: 

  • Registration is required and must take place by 5 p.m. the day prior to each class you would like to attend. Simply call the front desk at 201-389-0839, extension 2 to pre-register, pay for the class, and secure your spot.

  • An outdoor waiver must be signed before you participate in your first class and will be provided to you via email upon registration, or by the instructor prior to class.

Cancellation Policy: There will be no refunds based on attendance or no-shows to class. Credit towards another class will be provided for classes canceled due to inclement weather.* Paid classes can only be used for the exact class you pre-registered for.

*LifeStyles reserves the right to cancel classes based on environmental conditions including: thunder and lightning, and excessive heat and or humidity.  Please call 201-612-4860 for announcements of class cancellations.

Additional Information:

  • Please bring your own mat, towel, and water bottle. Don’t forget your sunscreen!

  • Props will not be necessary for our classes. However, feel free to bring your own light weights, yoga blocks, stretch straps, etc. where appropriate.

  • We will be physical distancing 10 feet apart and markers will be clearly set for each participant and the instructor.

  • Entrance to the Wellness Center will only be permitted after 7 a.m. for use of the restroom. Anyone wishing to enter MUST be wearing a mask and have their temperature checked at the door during screening. Please follow our “clean in, clean out” policy using hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the building.

  • Mask usage will be encouraged outdoors, but, not required as per the Governor’s mandate stating masks are not required for outdoor activity as long as physical distancing of at least 6 feet (10 feet during exercise) can be maintained.

  • Sanitation will be a top priority and hand sanitizer will be available.  We ask that if you do bring any props that you ensure that you are the only one to handle that equipment.

Class schedule for the rest of August will be determined based on participation and state guidelines.
